Item & Pricing Operations Specialist

Purpose

As our new Item & Pricing Operations Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring accurate and reliable product and pricing data across our systems. You will be working primarily in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, supporting automation of renewals, order creation, and financial reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, systems, and cross-functional teams. As our systems mature, your responsibilities will expand to include reporting, dashboard creation, and continuous data quality improvements that support smarter business decisions.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update item master data and pricing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O and Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM.
  • Ensure correct categorization, financial dimensions, and reporting attributes.
  • Manage vendor pricing rules, discount structures, and renewal price updates.
  • Review and verify data accuracy across ERP and CRM systems.
  • Perform ongoing data validation for Business Operations (orders, renewals, items, prices).
  • Collaborate with Finance to link products and renewals to correct financial accounts.
  • Support automation and process improvements in item, renewal, and pricing workflows.
  • Create and maintain reports and dashboards, including light Power BI tasks.
  • Work with Sales, Finance, and Operations across regions to ensure consistent data
  • Contribute to defining future Business Operations data activities as automation increases

Skills & Experience:

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O), especially with product and pricing data
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, especially reporting and data validation
  • Strong Excel skills, including Power Query
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Understanding of renewals, pricing structures, and vendor discount rules
  • Confident in English; proficiency in a Nordic language is a plus

•    Positive stakeholder feedback on data transparency and collaboration
