Revit Beyond the Basics for landscape architects

Take your landscape design and Revit skills to the next level! This extended course is designed for users who already have a basic understanding of Revit and want to work with more complex landscape models. The course is built around Naviate Environment – a Revit add‑in developed specifically for landscape architects. Naviate Environment helps streamline terrain modelling and updates throughout a longer, iterative design process. It also simplifies plant documentation and improves integration with other design tools, such as Rhino.

Course content for Advanced Revit training for landscape architects

• Create advanced terrain modelling, and work with landscape grading and contouring

• Learn techniques that support an iterative design process in Revit

• Integrate files from AutoCAD, Rhino, and others, and use them as the basis for your Revit model

• Document plants in Revit

• Optimise workflows with Naviate Environment

 

PRACTICAL EXERCISES:

• Terrain modelling and contouring

• Modelling plants and planting beds, including documentation

• Importing and using Rhino geometry
